As a Treatment Plant Operator, you'll play a crucial role in protecting the environment and public health through our core treatment services across our 26 Resource Recovery Centres.
Your Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled and passionate Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll support the delivery of day-to-day operational outcomes at our Resource Recovery Centres, ensuring safety, production, and compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operations team via routine allocated tasks to deliver reliable and efficient service of core wastewater treatment, including the provision of recycled water, off-network waste, and co-digestion receivals.
- Carry out simple inspection and cleaning tasks, following instructions and working under direct or indirect supervision to complete allocated tasks.
- Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.

- A willingness and desire to learn, be curious, and build relationships with colleagues.
- Interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with other technical and professional personnel.
- Relevant previous experience in roles where safety, quality, and teamwork matter.
- Foundational understanding of mechanical principles.
- C-class drivers' license.
