Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Driver/Store Assistant to manage the daily operations of our retail store in Cairns.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work within a team. They must also be polite, helpful, and have good relationship building skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the smooth running of the store and maintaining store standards
  • Operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions
  • Responding to orders received from the phone by processing sales and packaging orders
  • Assisting in changing display of shop stock
  • Receiving deliveries, unpacking, and re-shelving or storing stock
  • Looking after all aspects of the shop while the Store Supervisor/Manager is away

Key Skills:
