Job Title: Enterprise Hadoop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to manage our Enterprise Hadoop infrastructure and support the growth of our Big Data ecosystem.

This role involves deploying, upgrading, configuring, and managing of Hadoop platforms. Key responsibilities include building CDH clusters, upgrading CDH distributions, managing services, backup and disaster recovery, performing upgrades of elastic platforms and stacks, and identifying ineffective processes proactively and proposing industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in managing Big Data technologies and Hadoop ecosystem including Hive, Spark, Ranger, Oozie, HBase, CDSW, NiFi, Cloudera platforms. Experience with SSL implementation, Elastic Cluster, Active Directory, Kerberos, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux shell scripting, databases like MySQL and Oracle, and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Power BI Server, and Cognos is also required.

As an Enterprise Hadoop Manager, you will be responsible for configuring high availability for all Hadoop components, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. You will also handle data between Hadoop ecosystems and support both batch processing and real-time data pipeline such as Kafka.
