You will lead end-to-end architecture from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring security, compliance, and business value while collaborating with clients, partners, and hyperscalers to shape and execute our modern Data & AI roadmap.
- Design scalable cloud data architectures for efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval strategies.
- Maintain data security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost by collaborating with stakeholders on data governance, data sharing, data encryption, and security requirements.
- Manage data integration across systems, providing detailed design documentation on source system integration, downstream dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup plans.
- Develop and introduce data quality frameworks, monitoring and tuning data systems for efficiency.
- Lead data migration and modernization projects, helping customers learn and use AWS services like Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.
- Deliver on-site technical engagements with customers, understanding customer requirements, and creating packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.
- Prove the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
- Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps, sharing real-world implementations and recommending new capabilities.
- Engage with customer business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise in their environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT platform implementation experience in a technical and analytical role.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Lake and AWS-based platform implementation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and performance-tuning AWS services like S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and modern tech stacks like Spark, Hadoop.
- Expertise with AWS-based Hadoop ecosystem and related services.
- Proficiency with one or more relevant tools like AWS Glue, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Zookeeper, AWS Lake Formation, Parquet, EMR.
- Experience with one or more SQL-on-Hadoop/AWS technologies like Hive, Spark SQL, Athena, Redshift Spectrum.
- Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages like Python, Java, Scala.
- Additional experience with GenAI project implementation like embedding knowledge bases into vector DBs, chunking, MCP integration, tool integrations will be a plus.

- Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Deep knowledge of PDPA, MAS TRM, APRA, GDPR, and their application in secure, compliant data architecture design.
- Cloud & Hybrid Data Architecture Mastery: Expertise in designing and implementing AWS-based enterprise data platforms, incorporating data lakes, real-time streaming, advanced analytics, and AI/ML integration.
- Database & Analytics Technologies: Strong understanding of MPP and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, BI reporting, dashboard development, and SQL-on-Hadoop/AWS technologies.
- AWS Implementation Expertise: Demonstrated success implementing AWS services in distributed computing and enterprise environments.
- End-to-End Ownership: Ability to lead the full lifecycle from pre-sales solutioning, architecture blueprinting, governance design, to delivery oversight and business value realization.
- Partner & Vendor Collaboration: Experience co-developing joint solutions and accelerators with AWS, Azure, GCP, and other strategic partners.
- Commercial & Business Acumen: Skilled at translating technical architectures into business value propositions for senior stakeholders.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate distributed technical teams across geographies.
- Change Leadership: Track record of driving adoption of modern data architectures and influencing both technical and business stakeholders toward transformation goals.
- Willingness to Travel: Comfortable with frequent travel within ASEAN & Australia for client, partner, and delivery engagement.
