This role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in their own homes.
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
- Domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- Transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- In-home respite
- Providing companionship
Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patient and compassionate nature
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a remote team
- Dedicated, reliable, honest
- Willing to learn and upskill with every opportunity
