IT Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT department as an entry-level IT support specialist.

This role is ideal for someone currently studying towards a qualification in Information Technology or a related field, with a willingness to learn and follow instructions.

No formal IT qualifications are required, but you must possess good communication and organisational skills, be reliable and able to work independently once trained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, documenting and prioritizing issues based on severity and impact.
  • Provide initial troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for staff and students, including software, hardware, and network problems.
  • Perform basic data entry and updates in various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with end-users, providing status updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and processes for future reference and analysis.
  • Work closely with other IT staff to escalate more complex issues and ensure timely resolutions.
Requirements:
  • A committed Christian who is active in their own church.
  • Preferably studying IT or a related field (TAFE, university, or online certification).
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Reliable and able to work independently once trained.
