About Our Opportunity:

A leading fitness provider seeks an experienced and innovative leader to spearhead our small group training program. This role offers the chance to empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Head Coach will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging fitness programs, mentoring and developing a team of coaches, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fitness programs that cater to diverse member needs
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Maintain accurate class timetabling and rostering to meet member demand and optimize coach utilization
  • Contribute to the overall success of the club by participating in strategic planning and goal setting
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through class facilitation and build strong relationships with members
  • Continuously evaluate and improve program quality and member experience through data analysis and feedback

To Succeed In This Role You Will Need:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor in a high-volume club environment
  • Certificate 4 in fitness or higher qualification (e.g., degree in Human Movement)
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management within the fitness industry
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience teaching group fitness classes in a studio or small group format
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
