About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our Sydney team at Independent Reserve. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our digital token listing and review process meets the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough digital token assessments in accordance with our internal policy and risk appetite, collaborating with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Periodically review listed tokens on the Singapore and Australian exchanges to ensure ongoing compliance with local laws in each jurisdiction.
  • Prepare Board and Risk Committee documents, providing critical insights and recommendations.
  • Support the compliance team on strategic projects, leveraging your analytical skills to identify and resolve complex legal and compliance issues.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong educational background in Legal Studies, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by 3+ years of relevant experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within the Financial Services or Cryptocurrency industries.

You will be an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, able to self-manage your time and priorities under guidance from your line manager. A high level of personal integrity and the ability to exercise judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters are essential.
