Sales Support Officer

This role involves maintaining and developing customer relationships from an administrative perspective, enhancing the customer experience through efficient service delivery. Additionally, this role will support strategic decision-making by contributing to market research and analysis activities and providing valuable insights to the Sales & Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer enquiries and orders to ensure services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Handle general customer enquiries, process sales orders and invoices, coordinate domestic and international logistics, and provide prompt feedback to both customers and colleagues.
  • Coordinate with external service providers such as toll processors, shipping lines, and other relevant third parties.
  • Log samples and customer complaints, maintain clear communication on these matters, and align customer needs with operational capabilities.
  • Proactively communicate customer feedback to the Sales and Marketing team and liaise with internal teams to support business continuity.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with order processing, booking, and monitoring international sea freight.
  • Strong computer skills (intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office Suite) and adaptability to new systems and processes.
  • Strong research and information gathering skills, including the ability to identify and access relevant data sources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
