The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring quality and safety outcomes, and coordinating with trade teams.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough site inspections to guarantee compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate the activities of various trades on-site, working closely with the site manager to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Maintain effective relationships between different trade groups and ensure subcontractors adhere to safe work practices.
- Ensure all projects are completed to a high standard, meeting client expectations.
- Participate in regular health and safety audits and investigations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Verify that environmental controls are suitable, implemented, monitored, and reviewed.
- Review, understand, and input into subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
- Organize defect repairs in a timely manner.
- Attend lessons-learned sessions to continually improve performance.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in class 2-9 construction as defined by the Building Code of Australia.
- Relevant trade background and competencies.
- Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to meeting time and financial goals.
- Strong computer skills for daily use of programs and apps.
