Quality and Compliance Leadership Opportunity

Seeking a collaborative leader to oversee quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring robust governance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety and resident-centered care.

This integral role involves guiding the Leadership Council in meeting Aged Care Act obligations.

  • Lead governance and compliance activities, including internal audits, National Quality Indicators, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee management of Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) reporting.
  • Manage analysis and reporting of surveys, audits, and feedback.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
  • Maintain readiness for audits, assessments, and external reviews by monitoring and evaluating clinical and operational performance against Strengthened Quality Standards.

Required Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, health management, or postgraduate qualifications in quality, risk, or governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Act and clinical governance principles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading compliance, risk, and quality systems in complex service environments.
  • Experience with digital quality management systems and data analytics.

Essential Criteria
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the Aged Care Act and have experience in leading quality and compliance initiatives in aged care settings.
  • They should also have expertise in governance, risk, and quality management systems, as well as experience in working with digital tools and data analytics.
  • Aposteriori consideration is given to candidates who possess relevant tertiary qualifications, such as nursing or health management degrees.
