As our Logistics Project Manager, you will oversee and manage logistics initiatives from inception to completion across ANZ for our Kemp Creek Distribution Centre. You will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure the effective execution of logistics strategies, enhance supply chain processes, and meet project goals within financial and time constraints. This role will involve strategic planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication to boost efficiency and effectiveness in logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with our objectives while monitoring progress and addressing risks to maintain project timelines.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute tasks and achieve project milestones effectively.
- Analyze and refine logistics processes by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, implementing best practices, and integrating automation and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Allocate resources judiciously to support project activities and fulfill project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the availability of resources, equipment, and materials necessary for project execution.
- Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, including senior management, project team members, vendors, and external partners.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of logistics processes and systems.
- Conduct quality reviews, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- 8 years of experience in logistics project management, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in an international and multi-customer business context.
- Strong grasp of logistics principles, supply chain operations, and transportation management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Microsoft Project).
- Experience in financial management activities such as project budgeting and cost allocations.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to resolve complex issues and make data-driven decisions.
- Solid experience with SAP, AFS, FMS, WMS, TMS, and automation application packages.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
