About the role

We're looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead our brand-new Automated Distribution Centre. You'll be part of a world-class technology project that's modernising our supply chain.

This isn't just a new facility - it's a game-changer. You'll be part of a team that's driving innovation and excellence in logistics.

Your passion for leadership and motivation will shine in this role. You'll energise and empower your team to deliver outstanding service and results.

As Team Manager, you'll lead day-to-day operations, providing operational leadership and direction to your team. You'll also support process improvement, maintenance of operational activities, and delivery of high standards of performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations and providing operational leadership to team members.
  • Supporting process improvement and maintenance of operational activities.
  • Maintaining delivery activity and taking corrective action as required.
  • Motivating and challenging the team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Conducting regular appraisals and providing constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to support professional development.
  • Enabling an environment that adheres to Coles Quality, Compliance, Safety, Reliability, and Cost requirements.
  • Supporting the implementation of change initiatives.
About you

We're looking for someone with experience working in supply, logistics, and manufacturing operations. You'll be invested in creating a great team and workplace culture that fosters growth and development.

You'll have strong leadership skills, experience managing a team of 20+, and a proven track record of delivering results. You'll also be a strong communicator, able to convey the right message internally and externally.

Tertiary qualifications in lean, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics are highly regarded, but not essential.

We're looking for someone who is agile, able to make decisions quickly, and drive data-driven decisions.
