Payroll Data Analytics Lead

Job Overview
As a Director of Payroll Data Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the technical review of payroll remediation projects.
This role requires strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, and data visualization tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Spearhead the technical review of payroll remediation projects to ensure wage compliance and accurate entitlement calculations
- Oversee remediation projects, including Award/EBAs reviews, leave accruals, progression, superannuation guarantee remediation, and enforceable undertakings
- Lead specific FBT focused engagements by building various data models to determine applicable FBT amounts
- Maintain and manage relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman
- Guide the team in coding, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA, and data visualisation tools for FBT functions
- Over 9 years of experience in payroll data analytics
- Proven experience with leading large, data-heavy engagements
- Strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA tools, and data visualisation
- Demonstrated leadership within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent
- Excellent client communication and business development skills
