Digital Collections Specialist

We are seeking a qualified candidate to support the preservation and management of born-digital collections. This role will involve collaborating with the digital curation team to develop workflows and processes for the acquisition and stewardship of these collections.
About the Role:- The successful applicant will work closely with our team to support the transfer and preparation of digital collections for ingestion, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of preservation and accessibility.
- This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our digital archives, working on projects involving legacy computers and digital carriers.
- You will possess applied knowledge of international standards and best practices relating to digital materials preservation.
- Relevant experience working with software and hardware tools used in digital preservation workflows, as well as the ability to research and resolve technical issues, is essential.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or experience managing born-digital collections is highly desirable.
