Opportunity to Gain Valuable Experience in Emergency Medicine

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Registrar to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in emergency medicine, working alongside a team of experienced consultants and specialists.

The Emergency Department at BRHS is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing 24/7 trauma and emergency healthcare to the East Gippsland region. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including emergency paediatrics, and develop your skills in advanced life support techniques.

We offer a comprehensive training program, including weekly emergency medicine education and support for registrars completing the ACEM Emergency Certificate or Emergency Diploma. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and collaborative environment, allowing you to grow and develop your skills in emergency medicine.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent), General Registration or eligibility for Provisional Registration, and a minimum of 4 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. You will also need to have competence in advanced life support techniques and have passed AMC parts 1 & 2.
