Job Title: Food & Beverage Attendant (Conferencing & Events)

Mercure Perth is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Perth city, offering a range of amenities and services to its guests. As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Mercure Perth, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences within our outlets and across service periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event set-up and break-down, including service across multiple function rooms and event spaces
  • Welcoming guests to our food & beverage outlets, greeting and tending to each guest with a smile
  • Understanding menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
  • Managing the proper settlement of all customer accounts within our POS system
  • Undertaking basic beverage preparation, or acting as a barista or bartender as directed
  • Providing consistent and high-quality service
  • Being an active promoter of Mercure Perth and assisting in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
  • Maintaining standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
  • Promoting a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices
  • Working across other outlets as required
Requirements:
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • An entrepreneurial style and drive for conferencing and event operations
  • Experience setting-up, servicing and breaking down events
  • Flexibility regarding work availability, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
