As a Manager Consumer Credit Decisioning, you will play a crucial role in our lending operations, leveraging your extensive credit risk management experience to protect the bank and our customers.

About the Role:

  • Leading a Team: You will lead a team of experienced professionals to deliver credit decisions that balance growth and risk.
  • Credit Analysis: Proactively manage effective working relationships with lending units while maintaining independence and objectivity.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee the workflow of the team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to keep staff knowledge up-to-date.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Foster collaboration with Credit Managers and lending staff to enhance credit decisioning expertise.
  • Policies and Procedures: Support the development and implementation of credit policy and lending procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated team leadership skills with a track record of relevant team development, leadership, and management.
  • Credit Risk Management: Extensive experience in credit risk management roles, including strong credit analysis skills, ideally within consumer and micro business.
  • Lending Procedures: Strong knowledge of lending procedures and platforms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Sound and current knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking trends, and practices particularly as they apply to the extension of credit and credit risk measurement techniques.
