The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ashurst, a well-known business in the finance sector, as a Senior Legal Advisor. As a key member of the in-house legal team, you will have the chance to build your portfolio legal career and work on strategic projects and/or business-as-usual activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on Consumer Credit and Privacy laws to support the business.
  • Work closely with the in-house legal team to deliver key projects and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Consumer Credit and Privacy laws.
  • Strong commercial contracts experience preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks.
  • Current practising certificate.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
