Data Governance Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data and Information Management professional to join our team. As Data Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance across the organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data governance, project management, and quality management systems. They will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards, as well as providing training and support to staff.

In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain data management plans and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in data management, project management, and/or quality management systems
  • At least 8 years of experience in data management and project management
  • A current security clearance
  • Strong understanding of data management systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
