Data Governance and Stewardship Specialist

As a key contributor to our organisation's success, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our data assets. Your responsibilities will include curating and maintaining a centralised library of data assets, business metrics, and definitions to facilitate informed decision-making across the organisation.

Your Role

  • You will design and implement governance frameworks that promote data accuracy and usage, define critical metrics, assign clear ownership, and embed accountability for data consistency.
  • Develop and uphold data quality standards to drive continuous improvement and ensure high data integrity.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory data requests, ensuring submissions are accurate, validated, and aligned with industry and internal standards.

About You

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a data-related role, such as pricing, performance, or data analysis within an insurance business.
  • Proven ability to represent business interests in Data Management and Data Stewardship, aligning with compliance obligations.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to implement controls and develop strategies for data retention.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at collaborating and driving data-related strategies.
