Hospital Patient Registration Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring patients are registered efficiently with accurate details to provide an optimal level of direct and indirect care. You will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care.
About the Role:
This position is based onsite in the main hospital. The Women and Babies Administration team requires a Full Time and Part Time Administrative Officers to complement and enhance the current team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect demographic details for accurate patient registration.
- Interview patients for their financial election and process admissions, discharges, and associated administrative duties.
- Work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient patient care.
- Perform a combination of weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to carry out duties in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for resilience and compassion.
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
