Project Director Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Project Director to oversee industrial projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and delivering exceptional results on projects ranging from office fit outs to retail refurbishments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute commercial projects up to a significant value.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead project teams, including subcontractors and site personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Contractor administrator, or Project Engineer with build experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects of a substantial size.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
