Geriatric Medicine Consultant

This is a highly rewarding and challenging role for an experienced geriatric medicine specialist.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical practice within our rapidly expanding department, providing comprehensive care to older adults across the continuum of care.

This includes acute, sub-acute care, consultative (hospital and community), rehabilitative and ambulatory services.

The consultant will also contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and quality assurance activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill eligibility criteria for registration as a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with advanced training in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.

  • Possess advanced training in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
  • Be registered as a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia.
