Job Description:We are seeking a skilled geoscientist to analyze data, solve complex problems and provide expert advice to clients on offshore geo-data.
- Lead technical teams in geology or engineering projects, delegate tasks and review calculations for accuracy;
- Take on project management roles for marine consulting projects;
- Prepare and review technical reports and proposals in a timely and organized manner;
- Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and clients, handling communications on technical matters;
- Help develop project opportunities and identify markets;
- Write and publish papers, participate in technical development and competencies;
This role is part of Fugro's Marine Consulting team, providing consultancy services to clients within geology, geoscience, geophysics and geotechnical engineering fields.

Recent projects include site characterisation, desktop studies and finite element modeling for offshore windfarm projects, deep water geohazard assessments and detailed geotechnical interpretative reporting.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in geology/engineering geology/geoscience/geophysics or related discipline, along with creativity and willingness to consider new approaches to problem-solving.
