Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented facilities worker to join our team. As a facilities worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our buildings and grounds.

Your duties will include cleaning building areas, performing laundry duties, collecting and disposing of refuse, and maintaining clean refuse areas.

You will also be responsible for disinfecting and sanitizing washrooms and high-touch areas using specialized chemicals and proper PPE.

Additionally, you will maintain and clean parking lots and sidewalks, perform minor maintenance on buildings, grounds, furniture, electrical fixtures, and plumbing, and set up furniture for functions and meetings.

Securing buildings when necessary is also an important part of this role.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.

A Grade 10 education and WHMIS certification are required, and a minimum of six months of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
