Manager People and Culture Role

The Town of Cambridge is seeking a senior human resources professional to drive cultural change and lead a dedicated team in delivering business improvements.

As the Manager People and Culture, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer to develop strategic organisational development advice. You will provide leadership and guidance to your team on implementing contemporary HR policies, processes, and systems that align with legislative requirements.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Leading a small team of people and culture staff in delivering business improvements;
  • Providing organisational development and improvement advice to support the delivery of business objectives;

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior level leader with extensive experience in human resources to join the Town of Cambridge at a transformational time. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field and possess strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

The successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package that includes a base salary up to $175,000 plus superannuation on a 5-year contract. Additionally, opportunities exist for additional superannuation contributions.
