We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cost estimator to join our Cost Management Team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transport infrastructure by providing expert cost management services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing first principles estimates for heavy civil, road, rail, utilities, and aviation projects.
- Supporting the preparation of estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, and variations assessments.
- Providing probabilistic P50/P90 risk assessments to help manage project uncertainties.
- Collaborating with our wider cost management team to deliver cost planning, estimating, and commercial-based services.
- Delivering projects within the framework of risk, sustainability, and environmental considerations, while maintaining focus on time, cost, and quality.
- A passion for transforming the world around you and improving the quality of life.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale transport infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure cost management, including the use of software applications such as Expert Estimation, CostX, and @Risk (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 5-8 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- An innovative mindset, with a drive to challenge the status quo and deliver exceptional results.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills, fostering a culture where everyone can grow, perform, and succeed.
- Adept in managing and delivering against challenging and competing timescales.
