Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator

This is a unique opportunity to work in an aged care organisation, providing high-quality service and support to elderly residents. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and well-maintained home environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing the preventative maintenance program throughout the residential aged care facility
  • Performing reactive repairs on items within the home as needed
  • Managing the coordination of external maintenance contractors when required
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues and residents by closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for providing excellent care and support to the elderly
  • Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Hands-on experience with building maintenance, handyman or building services role
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting residents' values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs
  • Willingsness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
