Job Opportunity: Waste Collection Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Collection Driver to join our team in Ballarat. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the community by contributing to the kerbside collection of residential waste and recyclables.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, responsible for operating a dual control waste compactor to empty kerbside bins. They will also possess excellent team-oriented values, be enthusiastic, and have relevant experience in waste collection operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dual control waste compactor to empty kerbside bins efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and experience in waste collection operations are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion corporate values and provide high-quality work under time constraints.
  • Proven skill in operating waste collection vehicles and excellent customer service skills are required.
  • A Victorian Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR) and exemplary driving record are necessary.
Benefits:
  • This is a permanent, full-time position with up to 5 weeks annual leave.
  • Rostered shifts are Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 1:54 PM.
