The purpose of this role is to lead and represent the interests of Traditional Owners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead staff and manage cultural heritage responsibilities, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and agreements
- Work closely with the Board to deliver strong governance and maintain high-level relationships with government and other agencies
- Develop the organisation's operational capability and financial sustainability while ensuring all activities align with best practice business planning and risk management
- Promote the rights and aspirations of our members, ensuring the organisation operates with integrity, teamwork, and respect
The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight to promote the rights and aspirations of our members and have proven skills in leading teams, building relationships across government and community, and ensuring sound governance and management practice.
They will have a key responsibility in strengthening the organisation's operational capability and financial sustainability while maintaining high-level relationships with government and other agencies.
