As a Residential Youth Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Empowering young people to make positive and informed life choices.
- Providing personal care and assisting with daily routines.
- Engaging and communicating with young people in your care.
- Assisting with domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication.
- Implementing behavior support plans.
- Writing detailed and accurate daily shift notes.
- FOLLOWING organizational policies, including Occupational Health and Safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full NSW Driver's Licence and a car.
- Comprehensive car insurance.
- A current Working with Children's Check.
- 6 months of paid and recent experience as a Youth Support Worker in a residential setting.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Medicare evidence of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
- A minimum Cert IV in Youth Support/Diploma of Community Services.
- Current availability to work.
