Job Overview:

This is a high-profile role that involves supporting the origination, development and closing of opportunities in the energy sector. The successful candidate will focus on transmission lines, renewable generation, and battery storage systems.

The job holder will be responsible for preparing bids and investment proposals while managing interactions with various stakeholders including partners, clients, advisors, regulatory bodies, market operators, etc.

A strong understanding of the electricity sector is essential, including technical knowledge of market dynamics, grid infrastructure, permitting processes, and operational environments.

Responsibilities include monitoring market trends, conducting market research, identifying strategic partners, building business pipelines, collaborating with internal and external teams, and participating in commercial proposal development.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree associated with electrical power systems, proven track record in a similar role for more than 8 years, and experience working directly for transmission system operators or other transmission-related parties.

Familiarity with public tenders, interconnection processes, and agreements is also desirable.

A key skill required is the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and work autonomously to achieve results.
