Optometric Practice Academic Position

This academic position focuses on teaching and leading in optometric practice, requiring expertise in education-focused academics.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Lead unit teaching teams to develop effective curricula and learning materials.
  • Apply industry knowledge and experience into student learning experiences.
  • Deliver innovative teaching practices and improve student success and engagement.
  • Develop and lead the delivery of optometric practice and business management units.
  • Provide administrative and practice management services.
  • Offer academic support to students and work collaboratively to optimize student outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a cognate field or related area.
  • Teaching and business management experience.
  • Scholarly learning and teaching record in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Capacity for leadership and administration.
  • Able to work with partners and organizations.
