Network Planning Lead

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our subtransmission network. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in power system studies and analysis to drive business growth and success.

  • Led by: Developing long-term network development plans and economic cases
  • Partner with: Specifying network development expenditure for asset management and regulatory submissions
  • Promote: Continuous improvement in planning processes and systems
  • Key skills required:
    • Degree-qualified electrical engineer with extensive experience in network planning and asset management.
    • Proficient in PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD; Python programming highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of National Electricity Rules, regulatory frameworks, and energy markets.
    • Experienced in economic assessments, bushfire compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Able to lead complex projects, simplify technical concepts, and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Key qualifications include:
    • Working knowledge of REFCL planning and implementation
    • Familiarity with AEMO, AER, councils, developers, and other stakeholders

You will be based in Victoria, working closely with our local teams to drive innovation and investment in Australia's energy future.
