The role involves collaborating closely with business and risk teams to quantify material non-financial risks using a scenario-based approach. As an Operational Risk Capital Strategist, you will be responsible for calculating the bank's operational risk capital requirements.

You will support the identification of survival-threatening risks by analyzing internal and external loss data while keeping abreast of developments in the Operational Risk Management Framework and the overall business environment.

This includes actively participating in Group-wide and entity-specific stress tests, ad-hoc capital adequacy analysis, and preparing regulatory capital returns. Additionally, you will assist with capital-related regulatory inquiries and projects.

We seek candidates with previous experience in Regulatory Capital, Operational Risk, Audit, or Treasury, accompanied by a strong foundation in statistics and data analysis. A tertiary qualification in a STEM, Finance, or related discipline is required.

A background in ICAAP, ICARA, Basel III, etc., would be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities are also essential for this position.
