About the Role

We have openings for Disability Support Workers to provide support in Community and Direct Care service areas. Our services are designed to assist individuals in remaining independent within their community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients to achieve their goals through direct and group-based activities, including community access and engagement
  • Providing individual personal care services
  • Performing a range of domestic duties, including cleaning, shopping, and cooking
  • Assisting in developing, reviewing, and updating support plans that are achievable and client-focused
Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge in the Disability sector
  • Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similar qualifications
  • Knowledge of and respect for the rights and choices of clients and their families
  • A person-centred approach to providing care and services
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Victorian Driver's Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
  • Valid vaccination status for COVID-19 and flu vaccination
