This is a rare opportunity to lead health and safety initiatives at a leading hospital in Sydney, one of the city's most iconic locations.
As our dedicated occupational health and safety professional, you'll be based onsite and work closely with executive and frontline teams to shape and support a proactive, preventative health and safety culture.
- You will provide expert health and safety advice, lead incident investigations, coordinate health and safety systems, and help deliver safer outcomes for staff, patients, and visitors alike.
About the Role:
- Lead health and safety initiatives across the site, including coaching and supporting leaders on strategies and compliance.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response systems, as well as delivering health and safety training and building capability across the site.
- Review and update policies and procedures in line with legislation, and support injury management and return to work planning.
- Use data and digital tools to monitor, report, and improve health and safety outcomes.
About You:
- You will have qualifications in health or safety (e.g., Cert IV or above), as well as 3+ years of experience in health and safety or a related field.
- You will have a tech-savvy approach, being confident using Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
- You will possess strong communication, investigation, and coaching skills, as well as a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
