Product Launch Manager Role

The Product Launch Manager will oversee the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure a successful product launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the NPI (New Product Introduction) program, collaborating with teams including Product Management, Product Development, Quality, and Operations.
  • Develop and manage design transfer project plans, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless transfers.
  • Enhance manufacturability and servicing of new products through DFx assessments.
  • Create process planning, including process flow, PFMEA, equipment selection, tooling, and validation.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and order prototypes and product COGs.
  • Create NPI build plans for prototype build, Verification Build (RC build), and validation build (first article).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management focusing on manufacturing.
  • Previous track record of organizing and transferring small to medium size development projects.
  • Experience with a Phase Gate Design Process.
  • Experience in DfX.
  • Influence engineering and operations professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and superior organizational abilities.
  • Work well within a team environment and across multiple functions.
  • Take initiative and meet deadlines under pressure.
