About this Opportunity

A professional with technical expertise is sought to fill a Sales Representative position, covering Western Australia and Victoria. Key responsibilities include external sales management, business development, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key customer accounts and expand market share
  • Engage clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Conduct live demonstrations and training sessions for distributors and end users
  • Provide recommendations and technical support for gas and gas-cutting equipment
  • Develop sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Perform quotations, invoicing, and administrative tasks
  • Some interstate travel may be required
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities

About You

Applicants should have extensive knowledge of gas and welding equipment. Previous experience with gas-cutting tools or welding setups is an asset.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the gas industry, welding, cutting equipment, or industrial sales
  • Strong technical knowledge of gas, gas-cutting, and welding equipment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to engage customers internally and externally
  • Self-motivated individual with problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Trade background or technical knowledge of specialty gas products is preferred
