About this role:
Programmed is seeking a Home Care Assistant to assist our aged care clients in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide with travel required up to Sellicks Beach and Normanville.
This is a community position, and you will be visiting multiple clients in different locations throughout your shift. It is essential that you are located in the southern suburbs and have your own reliable vehicle.
Shifts begin at 8.00am and can last up to 4.00pm, with full-time hours available. You will be paid for your entire shift, including a 96 cents per KM allowance for your travel between clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role
- A First Aid certificate and CPR (preferable but not essential)
- A Manual handling certificate (preferable but not essential)
- Your own reliable vehicle - essential
- A current Australian drivers licence, car registration, and insurance
- A National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- A Working with Children Check
- A Passport and/or birth certificate (proof of Australian citizenship)
- Covid-19 vaccinations and booster (essential for work in the aged care sector)
