Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various sites.
The role involves preparing, painting, and maintaining plant and buildings, both interior and exterior, using a variety of painting tools and equipment. This includes erecting aluminium mobile scaffolding to interior and exterior locations as required, adhering to universal standards for industrial painting of plant and equipment. Additionally, the successful applicant will perform work in the design and production of signs and notices as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be considered for this position, applicants must possess relevant trades qualifications, specifically a minimum Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role.
The ideal candidate will also have a current Driver's Licence and certification to erect scaffolding. These skills and qualifications are not only necessary for the role but also demonstrate a strong foundation for success in this position.
Benefits:This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is included in this amount.
The successful applicant will also have access to salary packaging benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year. Other benefits include pay fortnightly, flexible working hours with option for 9-day fortnight, and use of fitness facilities across Tasmania.
