Role Overview

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering brief and ongoing interventions, as well as developing collaborative individual care plans. You will work autonomously, collaborating with colleagues to plan and develop services aligned with best practice standards and evidence-based care.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse; OR AASW registration as a Social Worker.
  • A strong understanding of mental health systems and programs in a community setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating sensitivity and ability to work with individuals who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness.
  • Demonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
  • Proven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Eligibility to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
