Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist Wanted for Aged Care Contract

Aussie Locums is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Sydney's Western Suburbs.
Estimated Salary: $50 - $60 per hour
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated professional to provide evidence-based therapy to residents in residential aged care facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Provide individualized therapy sessions to residents to address mobility, pain management, and overall well-being.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Lead small group exercise classes, rehabilitation programs, and short-term restorative care initiatives.
- Conduct patient-centered assessments in accordance with the AN-ACC model to help residents achieve their restoration care goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current FULL AHPRA registration.
- Aged care experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
- NDIS worker screening check.
- Ability to meet all credentialling requirements.
