Sports Administrator Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our sports team as a Sports Administrator.

The role involves event planning, administration, and communication with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Director of Sport.
  • Planning, organising, and managing school sporting events, competitions, and carnivals.
  • Maintaining the sporting calendar, records of student/team achievements, and contributing to newsletters and school communications.
  • Overseeing uniforms, equipment, and first aid resources for sporting activities.
  • Assisting with reporting and coordination of special sports events and functions.

About You:

We are looking for a committed professional with excellent organisational skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and attributes include:

  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with school databases is desirable.
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
