As an Executive Level 1 Enterprise Solution Architect, you will play a key role in driving digital innovation and providing cutting-edge solutions to meet user needs.

Job Overview

You will report to the Director and be responsible for developing strategic approaches to the department's ICT investments. You will work closely with the Chief Information Officer to align technology services with departmental direction in policy design and program management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop agency-wide designs and processes to embed the Digital Strategy and leverage whole-of-government standards and initiatives.
  • Lead the creation and review of systems capabilities to ensure services meet strategic requirements and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Conduct investment proposal appraisals and present findings to senior executives.
  • Capture and prioritize business strategies and objectives, identifying business benefits of alternative strategies.
  • Develop and present high-level views of proposed future services, categorizing them against strategic initiatives.
  • Establish strong, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including policy and program areas.
  • Facilitate and drive understanding of the value proposition and change throughout the product development life cycle.
  • Provide input and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the Department's digital transformation agenda and consistent user experience.
