Senior Executive Service Band 1 - Chief Architect

We are seeking a collaborative leader to drive the organisation forward and deliver on our mission.

Your role will play a key part in promoting and influencing a shared commitment to our strategic direction.

You will lead the ICT Digital strategy, technology choices and Enterprise Architecture for our organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Extensive digital technology and architectural knowledge and expertise.
  • Leadership and coaching of a team implementing agile methodologies.
  • An ability to interpret and lead the unique architecture of our environment and drive ICT maturity and uplift.

You will be responsible for leading a branch with inclusive leadership, collaboration and integrity. You will also need to demonstrate strong judgement and innovative problem-solving skills. Additionally, you will need to challenge the status quo when required and show resilience and personal accountability for advice and delivery of results. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a culture of innovation and agility, and embody the Defence Values and Behaviours.
