Job Title: Clinical Nursing Professional

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nursing Professional to join our team based in a renowned healthcare facility. This is a part-time position working 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
  • Undertake direct patient care including education, wound management, and drug administration as per best practice guidelines.
  • Effectively manage nursing patient load and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Facilitate effective communication with doctors, allied health staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all patient-related events are documented, communicated, and actioned.
  • Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, and clinical guidelines in line with industry standards.
  • Ensure medication management protocols are followed and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Demonstrate reliability, motivation, and flexibility to meet the changing needs of patients and the organization.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Hold a current registration as a Nurse or eligibility for registration.
  • Have a minimum 2 years post-graduate experience (preferred).
  • Preferred Oncology background/knowledge of Radiation therapy and Medical oncology; training will be provided in radiation oncology nursing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with empathy for patients and carers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including continuous professional development.
