Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that enhance patient outcomes and support a patient-centred service.

About the Role:

  • The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing education and training programs for nursing and midwifery staff to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • They will collaborate with unit managers to create orientation and performance development programs addressing education and training needs of nursing and midwifery staff.
  • The Clinical Nurse Educator will work with unit managers to identify essential personal and professional competencies for care delivery within the unit.
  • They will oversee individual staff performance appraisals and development activities under the guidance of the unit manager.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • A postgraduate qualification in nursing education or a related field.
  • Experience in education and training in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
