About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer Intern to join our Mission Critical facilities teams across Sydney and Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in Engineering, specifically Computer, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the largest data centers in Australia and be assigned projects to work on while shadowing the Facility Engineers when attending to maintenance and walk-throughs in the data center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of data center facilities
  • Work on projects to improve data center efficiency and reliability
  • Shadow Facility Engineers to gain hands-on experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Studying an Engineering degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics
  • Available from November onwards for at least 4 months
  • Graduating in 2025/26
  • Ability to clear Government Baseline clearance requirements
